My journey in the arts started all the way back in 2009 when my parents put me in my very first Ballet/Tap/Jazz class. This dance class I took at 2 years old may not reflect in the way I perform now, but it was the push that got the ball rolling down a steep hill into my artistry. I danced all throughout my childhood, taking in every style I could. From Jazz, to Ballet, to Tap, to Hip Hop, to Modern, I did it all. I loved nothing more than being on stage. So imagine my joy when I discovered the art of Musical Theatre. At 11 years old I starred in my first ever musical, Seussical the Musical Junior. I fell in love! Ever since, I have been in at least 2 shows a year, with some years being in over 5 shows.
I knew that theatre would be my path in high school. I have been in every production that my High School has offered. From contemporary musicals, to Russian comedies, to TYA one act plays. I dove head first into my schools theatre department with a heart full of passion and a mind racing with creativity. My commitment allowed me to be inducted into our International Thespian Society troupe very early, at the end of my Freshman year. My passion extended beyond the stage as I want to create a positive theatre space for everyone. In my Junior year I served as my theatre department's Secretary where I helped build and maintain structure within our troupe. In my senior year, I served as the President of the department and the Thespian Troupe, where I led my troupe, organizing every event from managing our trips to competitions to our end of year banquet and playing a large role in putting together each production we put on. I led my Troupe through encouraging positivity and dedication, and inspired our younger artists to rise to their fullest potential.
But my artistry isn't limited to the marley of a dance room or the deck of a stage. At 8 years old I took my first aerial silks class and discovered the joy of art not limited by gravity. I have taken classes in aerial arts for over 10 years and was apart of AntiGravity Orlando's Pre-Professional 'Starz' Performance team for 6 of those years. I have performed in many gigs and shows throughout my time with AntiGravity, receiving unmatched training in not only performance on a variety of original specialty apparatuses, but also rigging, safety, professionalism, and backstage operations. My training has taken me on to be a judge for the Aerialympics Aerial competition.
When I am not performing, I love spending time with my two dogs, Milo and Chip, being around friends and family, completely obsessing over harry potter or stranger things (they are just so good!), and taking a trip to my local theme parks, especially when its Halloween Horror Nights season. I value close and genuine friendships with the people I know and love to spend my free time with them in whatever way I can.
